Bilingual/Bicultural:

A Bilingual/Bicultural person is someone who:

• Demonstrates knowledge of both American and Mexican traditions
• Recognizes the benefits of being bilingual and bicultural
• Can effectively and appropriately communicate in both English and Spanish

Students become Bilingual/Bicultural persons through participation in essay and speech contests, spelling bees, and cultural celebrations.
